Background

Dribbys began as the personal brand for Christian Backa, but has since turned into the St. Louis-based photography company it is today. Backa has a Twitch account under the same moniker, where he streams himself editing photos. Dribbys currently sells street photography prints and plans to expand into other forms of merchandise. Given the many directions the company is already being pulled in, Dribbys needed a consistent identity to ensure brand recognition across multiple ventures.

Approach

The vague idea for an identity was already there, but execution was where Dribbys was lost. Thinking for the long-term, Dribbys wanted an identity that was simple, making it easy for both clients and potential contractors or hires to understand the brand and its values. The new brand identity is visually sleek and functionally versatile. Displaying strength in simplicity, the new system is perfect for communicating the brand’s promise to value quality over everything.
